Caledon Valley Nursery is run by an experienced and highly qualified management team. We strive continuously to improve all areas of our business through team work, working in a disciplined and structured manner, implementing new technologies and investing in our staff through occupational and life skills training. Teams are structured in such a manner to empower individuals through an allocation of responsibility and intensive training programmes.
Our success is heavily dependent on the competence of our staff. Training is, therefore, an ongoing process and varies from basic horticultural, irrigation, spraying and fertilisation skills, to more comprehensive subjects such as how a company functions, teamwork, managing personal finances and other life skills. Training given is welcomed by the staff receiving it, and there is little doubt about its benefits.
